albinobone Califone has always been one of my favourite bands. I saw them with my wife in New York for the 25th anniversary show of one of their albums. At one point, the vocalist told a sad but somehow hopeful story of how he and his neighbour hooked up for hand jobs at a bleak moment in their lives. The audience was silent, stunned?...inspired? Then, the band went on to the next song. At some point, my wife got tired, and we went back to the hotel.

Everyone needs to own every Califone album.
